School of Consciousness - The Ultimate Reality

The Project has been the dream of our Patron Dr. Vishwanath D. Karad

The Western reductionist approach to study the domain of consciousness is targeted to addressing the ‘easy problem’ of consciousness but is handicapped to address the ‘hard problem’ of consciousness

The ancient Indian Philosophical systems (Dharshanas) attempt to study consciousness and unravel the ultimate truth holistically and comprehensively using a synergistic approach that combines “Science and Spirituality”

Mission and Vision

The School of Consciousness offers a unique opportunity to explore the interdisciplinary areas for revealing the obscure understanding of Consciousness and related research areas.

The School of Consciousness offers a unique opportunity to explore the interdisciplinary areas for revealing the obscure understanding of Consciousness and related research areas. The School striving for excellence will prepare professionals who will create a meaningful change and dedicate themselves to models of health and well being. The mission of the school is to inculcate sense of innovation and practice of ethics with philosophical approach to practical solutions. Our goal is to translate the knowledge in the frontiers of Vedic Science/Chemical Science/Life sciences/Clinical Science/Applied Sciences/Psychology into the well being of the society and tap the unmet understanding of consciousness.

The school will focus on the admission to PhD program for extraordinary and bright candidates who have been serving the society in one way or the other and have achieved excellence in their respective fields. This will be in addition to regular admissions of exemplary Masters students to PhD programs.

Words of Legendary Einstein

‘A human being is a part of the whole called by us as universe – a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest – a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison.’
